The MBDA Apache is an anti-runway cruise missile developed by MBDA for the French Air Force (Armée de l’Air). In service since 2001, it is launched from the Mirage 2000 and the Rafale aircraft. The French government bought approximately 250 Apache missiles. It uses a GPS guidance system and has a maximum range of 200 km. Its warhead is composed of 10 Kriss anti-runway sub-munitions, weighing 50 kg each. The Apache has been developed into the Stormshadow missile.
