Colt Police Positive

The Colt Police Positive was a six-round cylinder revolver manufactured, in two calibers (.32 and .38), by Colt from 1905 to 1947, for American law enforcement agencies. It was a very successful and reliable handgun whose cylinder turned clockwise, opposite to other revolver cylinders. In 1905 Colt modified its Official Police revolver, fitting the Positive lock with an intercepting safety device. In various forms, the Police Positive stayed in production for well over half a century.
