The PARS 3 LR is a guided antitank missile developed by the German firm Parsys GmbH and manufactured by MBDA Deutschland GmbH and Diel BGT Defense. Launched from Eurocopter Tiger helicopters, the PARS 3 LR has been in service with the German Army since 2012 as Germany purchased 690 missiles. Its guidance system consists of passive infrared and television CCD sensors. It is powered by a solid fuel rocket, travels at the speed of 1,400 mph (2000km/h), and has a range of 4.3 miles (6km).
